POSITION:                Art K-12th grade/Educational Technology 7-12th grade Teacher

 

LOCATION:              St. Patrick’s School

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate for grades K-12 with an Art Education K-12th grade

       endorsement (LX) or (LQ).

  1. Professional Development related to Computer Literacy, Microsoft Office Software Applications, Graphic Design, Web Design.
  2. Highly Qualified to teach Art Education and Educational Technology as per No Child Left Behind (NCLB) requirements.

 

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:

 

1.      Endorsements/certifications in other applicable areas, grades K-12

2.      Willingness to coach/supervise extracurricular activities

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

           

1.      Salary and benefits as per Master Agreement between the Portland Education Association and the Board of Education.

2.      Must have fingerprints scanned electronically and submitted to Michigan State Police prior to hire.
